Assigned to create a brand identity and sustainable packaging design for a dry good, I chose to develop the brand Sprinkable. Since this project was focused on packaging, I started the process sketching and researching possibilities for a new way to package sprinkles that is user-friendly and sustainable. I learned from speaking with some hobbyist bakers different considerations for the design, like giving each container a wide opening so it is easy to access the product. In keeping it sustainable, I discovered the possibility of printing labels that are home compostable. I leaned into this with the product as the user would have the experience of "sprinkling" the labels into their compost after use, which I thought was a unique angle. Taking this into account, I created a digital ad showcasing this moment. I completed the project by finalizing dielines for the packaging and creating digital mockups using Adobe Dimension.
